Separation from Global Babylon

Notes from Stephen Bohr’s “The Genesis Code” #17 Globalism and the New World Order

Genesis 11: the Tower of Babel story
In Genesis 9 that God told everyone to scatter across the earth. The builder is identified in Chapter 10 as Nimrod, someone who built many cities including Babel:

Genesis 10:8-12 Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. 9 He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; therefore it is said, “Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.” 10 And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 11 From that land he went to Assyria and built Nineveh, Rehoboth Ir, Calah, 12 and Resen between Nineveh and Calah (that is the principal city).

Nimrod means rebellion. He or rather his wife founded sun worship based on the belief that Nimrod became the sun god. Names representing character and are changed by God when people’s characters change. When God commanded people to scatter this selfish enterprise was devised explicitly to prevent them from being scattered:

Genesis 11:4 And they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city, and a tower whose top is in the heavens; let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be scattered abroad over the face of the whole earth.”

This is the first monarchy described in history, this tower being a capital city for a major government uniting a large number of cities described in Genesis 10. Genesis 11:1-3. Mt Arreat is located in Turkey and is somewhat barren, this area east of Turkey would be Iraq, plenty of oil for asphalt, not many rocks, matching geographical conditions today.

Nebuchadnezzar in the neo-Babylonian empire possessed the same spirit: Daniel 4:30 The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?”

sons/daughters of men – the wicked
sons/daughters of God – the righteous

Genesis 6:4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

Genesis 11:5 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.

Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

The plan of the Babel builders only began with building a tower. They planned to start a united world kingdom based on the principles of complete rebellion against God. If they succeeded they would have continued the complete iniquity of those before the flood, wiped out those who follow God, and Satan would have destroyed the holy line of descendents which God was going to use to bring Jesus into the world and destroy Satan’s rebellion.

Genesis 11:5-6 But the LORD came down to see the city and the tower that the sons of men had built. 6 And the LORD said, “Indeed the people are one and they all have one language, and this is what they begin to do; now nothing that they propose to do will be withheld from them

God’s solution is confusion and the people end up scattering. United oppression of God’s people is very difficult when there are many languages, many nations, and many diverse societies.

–The purpose of the story is to warn against the evil and oppression that occur when larger groups can unite and to prevent this for a long time God forced everyone to scatter. During the end times all of the scattered groups will unite again.

All the nations of the world originated at Babel. Although languages are different, many other things are still identical. Common religious practices of all of the pagan religions: the rosary / beads in prayers (Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Roman Catholics) sun worship, etc.

Genesis 10:32 These were the families of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations; and from these the nations were divided on the earth after the flood.

Chronologies show that the holy line was preserved first from Adam to Shem, Shem to Abraham, then in Matthew Abraham to Jesus.

Living in that area of the Babel builders was Abraham, and his call was to get out of Babylon:

Acts 7:2-4 And he said, “Brethren and fathers, listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, 3 and said to him, ‘Get out of your country and from your relatives, and come to a land that I will show you.’ 4 Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell.

The purpose of bringing Abraham out of Babel was to keep him from corruption and to preserve the holy line so Christ could come. During this time Satan had achieved bringing the people of that land to serve other gods with the goal of trying to destroy and corrupt the holy line:

Joshua 24:2-3 And Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the LORD God of Israel: ‘Your fathers, including Terah, the father of Abraham and the father of Nahor, dwelt on the other side of the River in old times; and they served other gods. 3 Then I took your father Abraham from the other side of the River, led him throughout all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his descendants and gave him Isaac.

The purpose of calling Abraham was to bring the Messiah to bless the world. All of the sacrifices and emphasis on them, the Jewish feasts, everything pointed towards Jesus who was to die for the world’s sins. Most prophecy is wrong today because it is focused on the nation of Israel and not Israel’s Messiah:

Genesis 12:3 I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
. And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Galatians 3:16 Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “And to your Seed,”who is Christ.

John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.”

Galatians 3:13-14 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”), 14 that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

God undoes the curse of Babel (scattered languages) to help the disciples of Jesus who spoke Aramaic spread the gospel to all people:

Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Acts 2:8-11 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.”

Revelation prophesies about consolidating to a single global universal apostate system against God. One gigantic economic and political system. Same name, one global system at many different locations, Angel explains that the waters mean multitudes, nations, tongues, and peoples:

Revelation 17:1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me, “Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters,
5 And on her forehead a name was written: MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
Revelation 17:15-18 Then he said to me, “The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues. 16 And the ten horns which you saw on the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire. 17 For God has put it into their hearts to fulfill His purpose, to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God are fulfilled. 18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”

God’s people are called, just like in Abraham day and in the days of Lot, to leave Babylon and the corruption of its system:

Revelation 18:4-5 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.
